Frank Scaglione, Sr., a passionate car enthusiast and lifelong entrepreneur, is the proud proprietor of Franco's Used Cars.

Frank, an automobile dealer licensed in Iowa since 1974, boasts an impressive car collection that has encompassed a wide range of vehicles throughout the years. From classic 1930s Fords to iconic Cadillacs from the 1950s and 1960s, his extensive knowledge of automobiles spans several decades. Prior to his retirement in 2012, Frank successfully owned and operated the dealer-only West Central Auto Auction in Waukee, Iowa for nearly 15 years. His previous ventures include being the dealer principal and owner of Newton Motorcoach, a Cadillac/Oldsmobile/GMC dealership in Newton, Iowa, as well as owning and running Artistic Solid Waste in Des Moines. However, Frank's passion for cars ignited at a very young age.

Frank, a native of the South Side of Des Moines, has a plethora of captivating stories about his early infatuation with cars. Following their union in 1957, Frank and his wife Melba took to the streets in style, cruising around in a charming 1953 Oldsmobile 98 convertible. Being an ardent admirer of Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs, Frank accumulated an impressive assortment of these esteemed vehicles throughout his life, with a particular fondness for the 1974 Cadillac Eldorado convertibles. To add some variety, Frank also included a few classic Fords in his collection, making it all the more diverse and remarkable.

After amassing and restoring collector cars for numerous years, Frank is now presenting his private collection for sale. He earnestly desires that his cherished personal collection finds new, loving homes with collectors who share his deep passion for the automotive collecting hobby.
